Dr. Allyson Mlincsek, PT, DPT

Allyson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated from Mercer University in 2016 (alongside Merci and Brie)! She was born and raised just outside of Atlanta, and didn't go far to complete her undergrad at the University of Georgia with a degree in Biological Sciences. Once graduating from PT school she stayed in Atlanta, and gained experience working in different settings including orthopedics, hospitals, and finally found her passion as a pelvic floor physical therapist.

There was always something that felt like it was missing when it came to the patient population she was working with. About 5 years into her career she came across continuing education courses specific to treating women with pelvic floor dysfunction, and the rest is history. She truly believes all her clinical experiences have served her in being able to provide the most holistic approach to treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses.

Allyson is dry needling certified, and feels confident in the use of her manual skills as a practicing clinician of over 8 years. She loves working with women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, treating those with pelvic pain, and has a special interest in progressing her knowledge in the area of female infertility. She has found a love for serving women, and believes wholeheartedly that they deserve a practitioner who listens, understands, and centers patient care to the individual.

Allyson lives in Decatur with her husband Chris and daughter who was born in January 2024. Outside of work Allyson loves spending time with her family and friends, exercising, attending concerts, travelling, and always looks forward to college football season.
